PHILOSOPHY

GT Title primarily provides real estate title insurance and escrow/closing services. GT Title’s 3  on staff real estate attorneys are also licensed title officers and escrow officers and their primary focus is the provision of professional quality title and escrow services to the company’s clients and customers. GT Title focuses on providing title and escrow services with the involvement and support of its real estate attorneys because it understands that all real estate transactions involve numerous legal issues and concepts. In fact, in many states it is the unauthorized practice of law for non-attorneys to perform most title and escrow/closing services. In essence, title work is legal work. This is evidenced by the fact that title insurance transactions handled by attorneys contribute to claim rates lower than national title industry average.
